Forest Dwellers Rights – Chamarajanagara District

The Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006 and Rules 2008 provide giving individual and Community rights to forest Dwellers. 49 Chamarajanagar District Consist of forest Individual Rights to Forest Dwellers, have been given in Chamarajanagar District as per The Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006 and Rules 2008

  Status:

            Applicants have been Collected by Gram Saba, FRC‘s Constituted  and Individual Claims Processed on Merits and Survey done in Presence of forest Department, Tribal welfare, Revenue Department Staff and FRC’s Committee Members.

            All Survey Sketches have Physical Land marks mapping. GPS Survey with latitude / Longitude Positions have also been shown on the Sketches

            FRC’s Recommendations have been considered by SDLC and DLC.  As Approved 1115 Hakku Patra‘s have been Distributed under acknowledgment to applicants.    

  Hakku Patra:

           All Hakku Patra’s (1066 + 49) Hakku Patra’s issued earlier) have been laminated and the following code structure ka/C.Nagar/Kol/G.pet/Yel/001/0001 has been given to identify each beneficiary uniquely.
